"Hermann Consten traveled in Mongolia during the periods 1907-1913 and 1928/29. His travel notes are published in two volumes in 1919. Hermann Consten was in Mongolia in 1911 when Mongolia had independence revolution, proclaimed its independence and sent a note on enthronement of Jebtsundamba Khutugtu to countries including the USA, UK, France, Germany and Japan. He contributed to putting a basis of modern Mongolia and Germany relations and cooperation."
