Paul-Georg Svensson had language and medical education in Britain before he left for Inner Mongolia in 1934. His wife was a nurse, Eva Ingeborg Svensson (1909-2000). She also went to Mongolia in 1938. Paul-Georg was imprisoned by
The Japanese during the war until 1945. He was accused of spying and was captured over two years under difficult conditions
After returning home in 1946, he was employed as missionary secretary
in the Swedish Mongol Mission. He died in 1997.
